Even after her debut and Like a Virgin, if she wasn't on the map before she was now, hitting no.1 worldwide and spawning 5 hit singles. The front cover photo taken by Herb Ritts is often referred to as 'the swan' and even after all this time it is still captivating to look at.

A young Siedah Garrett who appeared as a back up singer on the LP and on the Who's that girl tour whould re-appear 18 years later to join Madonna as a back up singer on the Re-Invention tour. Richard Marx also appears as a back up singer on 'White Heat'.

Total worldwide sales 22 million.
