Released 8 years into Madonna's career, all the songs were 'revamped' using a new recording technique called Q-Sound which enhances sound performance. Although this was her first 'Greatest Hits' it only featured 15 hits and 2 new songs, a whole truck load of hits were left off. Only the UK was treated to 4 singles from the album, the rest of the world saw 2 singles.

Total worldwide sales 24.5 million.
